These are polyurethane components used for spacing, cushioning and load distribution between a fastener and the mating surface. PU washers for fastening applications help protect contact surfaces and distribute clamping load over a wider area. PU washers for component isolation are used to keep two components separated and prevent direct contact.

The inside diameter, outside diameter and thickness should match the fastener and contact surface. Custom ID OD PU washers can be manufactured according to your drawing or required dimensions. Custom thickness PU washers can also be supplied when a specific spacing or compression height is required.

These are available in Shore A 60 to 95. The suitable hardness depends on the clamping load and the amount of cushioning required. Softer grades are suitable for cushioning and vibration control, while harder grades provide better resistance to deformation under higher loads.

Both options are available depending on the quantity, design and dimensional requirements. Moulded PU washers are suitable for regular sizes and repeat production. Machined PU washers are useful for trial quantities, specific dimensions and applications where the ID, OD or thickness needs to be made to specific dimensions.

They can include features such as slots, flat sides or shaped outer edges according to the required drawing.
